Welcome! Cork is starting to build towards the Jazz Festival, so expect the city to get much busier from the middle of next week. Before that, the Cork International Short Story Festival runs from today to Saturday, with four days of readings, workshops and literary events.

Some big names like Keith Barry and Jack Dee are also performing at The Everyman.

Our something different this week is Raízes Fest, which takes over Kino on Sunday. You can get involved in this Latin American and Spanish cultural festival, with music, dance, comedy, street food and cocktails.
